ANSWER: When you become a 9th period apprentice, a portion of your Vacation contributions will remain in the Fund and you will receive a Vacation check on the second Saturday in December.

ANSWER: If authorized in writing by the employee, $0.44 per hour is deducted from the employer contributions made to the Plan on behalf of that employee and transferred to the U. A. Local 447 Organizing Fund. In addition, the sum of $0.22 per hour is deducted for Residential/Light Commercial participants from the contributions received for journeyman, foreman, general foreman and senior general foreman and 9th and 10th period apprentice.

ANSWER: The first $1.43 per hour is deducted from the employer contributions on behalf of each eligible employee for each calendar month and deposited in a savings account at UBOC in the name of the employee.

ANSWER: Savings account deposits are electronically posted to your account on the last business day of every month.

ANSWER: Each employee is permitted to draw vacation benefits at other times permitted by the Trustees, up to a maximum of two withdrawals per calendar year. A special withdrawal will be authorized in the event of a bona fide hardship or emergency.

ANSWER: All Vacation Fund contributions for travelers, less authorized deductions, are deposited in individual savings accounts established at UBOC in the name of the employee.
